By booking a team place or sponsorship for the Charity Quiz Night on Thursday 25 June 2026 at Lincoln Indoor Bowls Club, you agree to the following terms.
Please note: as all proceeds from this event go to charity, bookings are non-refundable. Please make sure your team can attend before booking.
1. The event
The event is a charity quiz night raising funds for Alzheimer's Society. Teams are six players. Buffet curry is included. A bar will be available on the night (drinks not included in ticket price).
2. Booking
A team place costs £100 and entitles a team of up to six players to enter the quiz and enjoy the buffet curry. A sponsorship costs £50 and includes the benefits described on the event page.
Bookings are confirmed once payment is received. Payments are processed by Stripe. You'll receive an emailed confirmation.
3. Refunds and cancellations by you
As proceeds go to charity, all bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable to future events. If your team can no longer attend, you are welcome to find replacement players to take your team's place — please let us know at andy.smith@gacarers.co.uk.
4. Cancellation by us
We hope it won't happen, but if circumstances beyond our control mean we have to cancel the event, we will contact all teams and sponsors, and either reschedule or arrange refunds at our discretion.
5. Sponsorship
Sponsorship at £50 includes:
- Your logo displayed on this website
- Your logo on the big screen at the event
- A shout-out on Magna Radio's social media post about the quiz night
Sponsors are responsible for providing a high-resolution logo by email after booking. We reserve the right to decline sponsorship from any organisation we feel is not appropriate for a charity event.
6. Behaviour at the event
This is a friendly event held at Lincoln Indoor Bowls Club. We ask everyone to behave respectfully towards organisers, the venue, staff, and other guests. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave whose behaviour is disruptive or disrespectful, with no refund.
7. Photos and recording
The event may be photographed for use on this website, social media, and post-event reporting. If you'd prefer not to appear in photos, please let an organiser know on the night.
8. Liability
Organisers accept no liability for personal property brought to the venue. Lincoln Indoor Bowls Club's own venue terms also apply while you are on their premises.
